There's no thread for this book, so yeah...

I like it when Artemis defeats Spiro's stupid alarms. I also enjoy when Spiro invites all of Artemis's 'fairy friends' inside the building.

*sighs* I just love it when Spiro goes totally bonkers at the end...

Oh dude. The first chapter is genius. I will never forget reading that on the internet and having to try to stop my heart from exploding with excitement. Also when the plan really comes into action, with Artemis breaking out of the cell and getting the cube back, and then whispering in Spiro's ear and everything. I just thought, "What kind of genius created Artemis?! Ah yes! Eoin Colfer is a genius!" It was one of the best bits of a book I've ever read, until the truffles bit in Opal Deception Wink.

"Spiro howled like a demented wolf". Priceless.

When Arty discusses his name and such.

When Chips and Pecs discuss movies and go all "was it that one at the end with all the words coming up?" They are SOOOO STUPID!

Pex and Chips are amazing. Every bit they were in they were hilarious. That book is definitely my favourite at the moment - so many great lines and awesome scenes! I can't wait for it in graphic novel form! Smiley

OMG TOTALLY!

GN 1 was like, dark, mysterious, Fowl Manor type. Like grand but misty and dark and all.

GN 2 would probably be like WHITE from all the snow! And green and blues and stuff.

GN 3: high tech. New innovations, etc.

GN 4: (if we get up to here) Purples, greens? Opal colors I dunno...

GN 5: MIX!!! Time travel MIXES everything!!!

I agree with you Serp, Pex and Chips are just so stupid they make you laugh!
I think the scene involving Mulch being buried was my favourite for the sole reason that Pex, Chips and Mulch were all in it Cheesy

I liked it when Artemis defeated Spiro's security system and when Juliet fights. Cheesy Girl Power! I hated it when Artemis had to get mind wiped. It kinda made me cry. Sad

Commander Root dying...... That was sad. Cry Cry Cry
Now that I think about it. Jon Spiro is Artemis' only human villain. I would count Minerva's bodyguard(the one who wanted to kill No.1 in TLC) as one of Artemis' human villains, but he was actually Minerva's villain. Artemis just got in the way.

My favorite scene is the last one with Jon Spiro. The one where Artemis vanished in front of Jon Spiro and Holly took Artemis away.

This is my second favorite book,so I have a lot of favorite parts.
Loafers and Mulch arguing in the airport, any part with Pex and Chips in it,and that last scene with Spiro.
I think that about covers it...
