i don't think that it's realistic, as in way to far out, for a 13 year old teenager to preform cyrogenics, for 3 hours, on a bodyguard who had just got shot an inch from his heart. but having built in kelvair is pretty cool. when i heard that butler (domovoi) was aged 15 years i really wasn't suprised because he had just gone under major surgery, even for faries, and no side effects. no way i agree with eoin by aging butler 15 years.

It was weird cos it was my first book and I kinda freaked out cos then i thought the whole book would go on about how he died and miserable people! But when they found the fairy and she had this special fairy magic that could heal people I went phew cos Butler did play an important part in the book.

I probably prefer both cos they still have the same personality and they are loyal plus Kung Fu masters!!!

I thought it sucked a little bit because it does mean as well he has missed out on some of the butt-kicking action. He probably would have picked to stay alive and he got a free piece of bullet-proof skin out of it! I thought that when Holly arrived and was trying to bring him back I thought she wouldn't succeed and all these pictures of men wearing suits came up in my mind. (Weird I know!) and Artemis still has him which is a good thing because you never know how good or bad the next bodyguard would be.

OK, honestly how did you feel when Butler got shot.
And then later on, how were your reactions when you heard that Butler had aged 15 years?
okay so i actually cried when butler died, for the second time, and the fact he aged 15 years, i was outraged, it was a tragedy, how could eoin do that, poor butler, so devo  Angry

When Butler got shot I was like, "AW-EM-JAAAAAY! Butler dying again? I wounder how he would recover this time." Then, when he aged, I was like, "Eoin Colfer? Oh no you didn't. You know that he like, needs Butler." Then, when the book ended, I was like, "Goodbye, Domovoi! (echoes)"

I was astounded when it looked like it was the end for Butler, but he survived to live another day. The aging fifteen years isn't really so bad since he can still take on four (or more) armed henchmen and still beat them in minutes.

Seriously, I cried when I thought Butler was dead. To be honest, Butler is the only one Arty ever confides in apart from Holly (and that's only recently) Poor Arty... Cry I was so relieved when it turned out that he would live, but felt slightly sick when I found out he had aged by 15 years. But I would definitely prefer Butler alive. The only thing about Butler living was that made me think Root would live as well...Sometimes I hate Colfer...but never enough not to read his books Wink
ok, that's eactly what i thought too. i was so devastated...
