Colfer made a book series that people of ALL ages are enjoying!

Jan (my friend) : 8 years old and is on the Opal deception! Grin He says it's AMAIZING!!! (I agree! Grin)

Me (and all members of these forums) : 9 - 19 years old and are on the end of the series (probably) We say it's PERFECT!!!! Grin

The world (almost) : 1 - 115 years old and are on the end of the series (probably) and say WOW! Best book series I ever read! (probably) Grin

That's how I see, it might be true and might not, I dunno Tongue

Holly and Arty 4eva!.......Artemis Is My God......

« Reply #273 on: January 16, 2010, 07:29:01 AM »

Well my mum is into the twilight and harry potter books. Im tweleve and first read about Artemis when I was eleven, less than a year ago. I fell imediatly inlove with it and the twilight and harry potter books got the flick. Ive leant it to my mums friend 2 weeks ago, and she loves it. Im going to give it to my mum as soon as she finishes. I made two of my friends read it and they loved it too! So I dont think there really is a age group for Artemis Fowl, and if there is, well there shouldn't be. I think its sutable for Adults and Children, and defiently teens, seeming im almost one!!!

I think anyone can enjoy it at any age group. Grin Grin

I was in the 3rd grade about 9 or 10 when I read the first four books. ( thankz mr. Hicks)
I forgot about them for 2 years. And picked them back up and became an ulimate fan. Now I'm 14. But I still (& always will ) love Artemis Fowl.

I think anyone at any age can read it. But age doesn't matter if you want to like it. You have to believe, not in magic fairies LEP or child masterminds, but in where Eoin Colfer wants you go.Because that's what books are for to take us places. If you don't believe you won't get hooked and get to love flatulent dwarves or mellowed centars.

I think I was 7 when I first read Artemis Fowl and I didn't really get it. So I re-read it a few years later and got totally addicted. Now I'm 15 and attempting to make everyone I know read it as well.

Now that I think about it, my parents read The Philospher's Stone to me at that age and I totally got it. So why not AF? huh.

I started when I was twelve. I'm still waiting for the Atlantis Complex though. I do not believe in mellowed centuars, everything else, no prob!

I'm the only Artemis Fowl reader in da family.
My father read it to my sister when she was in about sixth grade, and he was, like....40 somfin'. I was in first grade at the time, and would ova hear parts of it, and rememba thinking about how "magical" it was Cheesy So, in about third grade, wanting to act as more of a memba of my family, I read the books. It didn't bring me closer to my father and sister like I hoped it would, but it was still great to read. I reread it in sixth grade when I was bored one day, and fell in love with it all ova again.
