It would be alright if it wasn't the same thing twice.

Not really because if you just quoted the part where I said "there" everyone would know what you were talking about. Cheesy

Well, I've finished "Hide and Seek," so I'm now on "Galactic North." Tongue

How was Hide and Seek? Was it depressing, or nice? I hate depressing books- don't see why people write 'em!  Undecided Do you like reading the adult-ish type books? Not me- there're very few adult books I've actually liked- one is By the Light of the Moon- when you're done with your many books maybe you could try it- I loooovvvved it! Smiley Smiley Smiley

Well, it wasn't the cheeriest book ever but it had a happy ending if that counts for anything. With books I don't really like any particular genre, I like particular authors. If you know what I mean.  Roll Eyes Galactic North definitely was quite depressing though, a lot of doom and gloom, same thing as with Carrie.

I read too many books on family holidays.  Grin

That's funny- about you not liking genres but authors. I mean, almost every author I like- even in particular- has managed to write a book I don't like. See what I mean? For instance, Ec is one of my favorite authors, but I didn't think "And Another Thing..." was great... Like you though, I'm not a fan of any particular genre- I go with what's in the book though- not really with authors- like is it worthwhile? Good ending? Touching enough? Well that's me for you I guess... Smiley

I've just finished "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" (the second in the Dexter series) and it was AWESOME!!! I love the Dexter books, although so far I've only read "Darkly Dreaming" and "Dearly Devoted". I can't wait until number three and four find their way to my mailslot. Also, the TV-series is really good. Since I watched the TV-series before I read the books, I wasn't disappointed at it but even so, the show also rocks. He is extremely lovable for a psychopathic serial-killer. <3

Also, I'm writing my extended essay on the Otherworld Series by Yasmine Galenorn, so I'm rereading it for the third time. Still as good, or maybe even better.
