I believe the C-Cube will make a final appearance sooner or later. Artemis Fowl will probably use it without Foaly's knowledge to escape from some sort of treachery.

I always imagined that the C Cube was handed back over to Foaly and he locked it away wherever he keeps all of his useless gadgets. I agree with thinking we won't be seeing it again.

No Way! It was too much of a key part of TEC for it to not make a reappearance.

Same here. I agree that the C Cube will make a reappearance, seeing as how it was a huge part in The Eternity Code. If you ask me, it will come back (just on Foaly's desk, weighing down a few schematics for inventions).

I agree with Jacob I don't think it's going to be reappearing in the 6th book. I mean it made it's appearance in The Eternity Code why would it come back and anyway maybe Artemis is just going to invent something better in the next book...

It did play a major part in TEC, but I don't think we'll get to see much of it anymore. It made it's big debut, and now it's just... something from a past book. Colfer could make it return for humor, though. anyway maybe Artemis is just going to invent something better in the next book...
Actually, Artemis didn't really invent it... it's mainly made from stolen fairy technology.

Then maybe not invent. Change "invent" for "create a new gadget with stolen fairy technology"

Hmm.. plausible, indeed. However, Artemis isn't the type to steal technology from the fairies anymore. There's a thread where you can dicuss Foaly's possible inventions in the next book, though. Here's the link: http://eoincolfer.com/messageboard/index.php/topic,126.0.html*backs on topic* I don't really think the Cube would be much of use to Artemis anymore. However, a new thought I just had would be for Artemis to give it to his dad or something. He sure would marvel at the technology

I hope that there is alot about Artemis Fowl I in the next book because basically all we know about him now is that he's missing a leg and he wants to focus more on family.

well, his dad can already marvel over Artemis's magic does that mean Artemis can shield and mesmer now? or can he just make magical fireworks? if so, he can always make some appearances at a few birthday parties

I think that Artemis can for sure do the mesmer because it says in the book that even a fairy with only a dribble of magic left can perform the mesmer (e.g. Cudgeon) and Artemis has already proved that he has enough magic to heal himself.

i just reread TEC and realized that when Artemis asks if the equipment he asked for is ready, one of the items mentioned by Butler is a prototype C Cube. This was never used to steal the Cube from Spiro, so could Artemis possibly have put the prototype back on Holly's belt and taken the C Cube for himself?

I can't believe I overlooked that!!!!! That's so cool. That means Artemis still has one of the most dangerous pieces of technology to fairies. But the question remains, will he use it against them?

If that (Artemis takes the real one and puts prototype one back) happened, it would've been mentioned. And LEP would've found the real (or prototype) C Cube while looking for faery-related stuff.
