we all know about artemis's cool device, the C Cube. but whatever happened to it? it practically vanished. near the end (if i remember correctly on this part), artemis simply stuck it on hollys belt and then he had his mind wipe later. what do you supposed happened?

I think Holly handed it over to Foaly, who still has it. I think the LEP wants to hold onto it for safekeeping... I mean, the technology's obsolete for them, but they definitely don't want Artemis getting it back. Actually, they're probably using it for psychological analysis of Artemis...
I don't think we'll see it again, though.

Well, it'd have been definately removed from Fowl Manor and moved underground, as there was a chance that it could give Artemis total recall, so they couldn't risk that.

I don't know. Perhaps it was ordered to be destroyed. Maybe Foaly still has a piece of it.

LOL! Foaly! That was classic. You have a typical Foaly-ish sense of humour. Your username really suits you

@Elisabeth: Ditto. Anyway, either way, the C Cube is a very crude fairy device as compared to Foaly's new inventions, so I agree with the paperweight theory, actually. XD Who knows, the Cube could make a cameo appearance [on Foaly's desk] in Book 6. The important thing is, it should be kept safe somewhere.

I hope Eoin read that. Because I think it would be a nice reminder of the past, and give everyone "warm fuzzies". Plus, Foaly could make lots of snide comments about how primitive it is. It's always fun to read about Foaly bragging about his technological developments.

I love Foaly's "unappreciated genius" moments! I always laugh at them.
I would like the C-Cube to make a reappearance. It would be a really reminiscent moment for me.

Foaly's technology rants are my favourite parts of the books. He is undoubtably my favourite character after Artemis Fowl of course.

I don't think we'll see it again. The C-Cube is my second most-wanted Artemis gadget. After wings XD

I don't think we'll see it again, either. It's probably kept in a "Mud Men Equipment that Shouldn't be Touched" vault. But the paperweight theory is also possible... Or maybe Foaly recycled it to make more tin-foil hats... He doesn't wear them anymore, though...

He should. In my imagination they suited him.
