I've noticed in The Eternity Code how tough Juliet can be. We've looked into her training, and got more details about her than we did in the first Artemis Fowl novel. While she is rather talkative, she could take on anyone who challenged her. But in Book 1, (Domovoi) Butler seemed rather protective over Juliet, and Eoin portrayed her as a teenager who was into the strangest things, and talked tough but couldn't swing a proper punch. Yet in TEC, it was said she had begun training at a young age. So, what kind of girl is Juliet? A reckless adolescent who Butler needed to shadow all the time to make sure she didn't get in trouble? Or a black widow-pretty expert martial artist?

I'd say a dangerous damsel. Damsel because... well... not to be sexist, but she's a girl. And the usual image of a teenage girl is "damsel." Unless the audience knows that the damsel is actually a master of bodyguard art, they won't classify her as dangerous.... Juliet? I vote dangerous.

juliet is rough and tough and could knock your lights out, i wouldn't want to come up against her, but i bet if you gave her a couple of hundred bucks and set her free in a mall she would go shopping crazy

It's easy. She's Damsel AND Dangerous. So, if she ever gets married, I feel bad for the guy.

ya, in the first one, she was still not as trained- remember, she went to madame ko's later, not in the first book. in the eternity code, she's much more trained.
also, in the other books, juliet is not even mentioned- i mean did she win that wrestling tryout or whatever? What happened to her? I thought butler would think about her once in a while

To contradict dangerous, she forgot all about her target in madame Ko's training.

Juliet was thinking at one point that she might not want the blue ediamond tatoo, because Madam Ko didn't like her fighting style. Madam Ko expected her to incapacitate anyone who got in her way while protecting the principal, but she was to soft to hurt innocent people. I would say that she is dangerous only to other dangerous people. But I do agree that Juliet Butler has changed since she was 16 years old.

Well. Juliet is kinda both. I mean, she couldn't really fight a troll, could she? Not even Butler did, he had help from Holly. I think Juliet is also dangrouse, i wouldn't want to go near her and give her a fright, because i might just get a jade ring on my nose, would i?

I vote for the dangerous option because in a fight, she would be able to deal out some serious damage.
