What did you think. there are many complaints going around about the art and how its wrongish. example: artemis' brown vs. blue eyes, and holly being too tall. please, EXPRESS YOURSELVES!!! (woo-hoo )

i found that the Lep helmats were wrong. I checked with the artemis fowl files book and found something very different. I agree they did draw Holly to tall.

they made a mistake, although i didnt check the book yet to see if eoin also made the mistake. when those two scientists look into artemis' eyes to see if he is telling the truth, he is wearing the reflective glasses so you cant really see his eyes. thats a bad mistake.

I think the whole thing ruins the books. the one thing i love about Artemis Fowl is there are no pictuers!! you can let your imagination run wild. so to have the graphic novel seems really wrong. personaly it will not be one i am going to read as i want my own image of how everyone is supos to look like not one made for me. (Sorry for any spelling mistkaes lol)

I think they did partially ok. I was glaf to see Butler becuase for a long time I always mistaken the word Butler for an old man, so it was always hard to get the picture out of my mind.
I think they did ok with Artemis, I'm a little dissapointed that in the first graphic novel that didn't show it saying "I don't like lollipops." cause that line made me crack up.
I think they did well with showing the characters personality with Holly, Root and Foaly. Maybe Holly was a bit tall, but sometimes people tend to need to overexagerate the main heroes. If they didn't show her tall compared with Artemis, I'd have said she was jsut on alarge scale compared to the rest of the fairy folk, but I guess they also say in the book she's like 2 inches shorter or soemthing?

no, she is supposed to be 99cm. thats a tiny bit over 3 feet tall. but its also 1 cm shorter than the average fairy. in the graphic novel, she was as tall as juliet, and average sized human... actually, considering juliet's genes, she might be a bit taller than average. and yes, they totally messed up the tin foil hat.

i think its great you wanted to see what they really looked like. and its each to there own i guess. but im guessing *as i havent achsuly read it* that some of it is incorrect. so again that just suports my idiea of it being a waste of time. (again sorry for spelling)

yah, i sort of get what you are saying. (sort of...) i still like being able to imagine it more than i like seeing it im graphic novel, but it was a different experience, and it was interesting, so i gave it a whirl.

I like the arts. So are my friends. However, I was dissapointed by the pictures of Holly in the bathtub half naked and that unappropriate picture of the fairy. (Seriously)

Actually, I thought the art was a lot like what I imagined. Mulch could've been a bit less hairy, Foaly could've look a bit more civilized, but I think it's pretty good.
