Now no promises here, just wondering. I'm not saying that there is one either. I'm trying to get people to help get him to make one! The first was just the greatest, not better than Artemis, of course. But great, and it saddens me that it ended. This is kind of a spoiler, but I think it's on the site somewhere.

Quote
Linus searched the air until his hand found Conor's shoulder. "Other men look up and down, left and right," he said. "But men like us are different. We are visionaries."

Now I think it would be great if he made the second where it tells about Conor's adventure in the other town in half and the other half about what he does back at home. Does he become king and marry Isabella? Does he help get the world in the skies? Would be great to see a second one.

It would be the absolute best if Eoin continued with the story of Conor! The book was amazing and I couldn't wait until i had finished it, but i felt so disappointed when i finished it! i wanted to read more! Make another one Eoin please!!!!

I don't really like the idea of that because why continue if the story wrapped itself up already? Conor couldn't go on with another interesting adventure...

Yeah, I have to agrre with Lightbulb621 becuase there wouldn't really be anything more for Eoin to write about...  Undecided I think one brilliant book is enough. Perhaps they could create a book with blueprints of the glider and all other flying machines that were being designed in the tower Wink

Hey just wanted to say that there is still a chance that there is a new one because Bonvilain has not yet been pronounced dead yet. There may be a medical miracle or maybe he's actually some kind of demon and has not been killed. Again people, these are strong hints that there might be a second. Dont get your hopes up but you never know and Personally I hope there will be.

If Eoin writes a sequel then it would sort of ruin the story...it would be a bit far-fetched if Bonvillan miraculously survived a ceremonial sword being shoved into his chest hard enough to go through his chain mail  Undecided

i agree with alex rider. i mean most of the book was quiet true to life u know, no non of the usual faires and stuff, so some one surviving an injurie that bad in those days would sacrifice the realisticness.

the way i see is that the only way to make a good sequel to the book would be to make a new villain and i dont think there can be a better vilain than bonvilain.

or can there........ Huh

I was at the London event, and he said to everyone that he might bnot right a sqeal due to him writng other squels to books such as The Supernaturalsit 2 and The Time Paradox! Grin

But if he did make a squel, that would be soooo cool maybe Bonavilian has a son or something that no one knows about and he wants to avenge his father! Grin

im new!
hi!
about a second airman.
it will probably depend on its sucess.
after all, if it sells only a few copies, then the publishers may not even publish a sequel, because they wouldnt make any profits, and even though eoin might write one, just for fun.
so we may see a special edition one, even if its not published in the near future!

It would be absolutly wonderful if Eoin made another one! But even if he didn't, the last one ended perfectly.

I think he wrapped the book up really well, the only window we've found for a squel is the minute chance of Bonvillan being alive. I'd love another Airman but I agree the last one ended perfectly, there's not a lot to add to it!
