This is Butler, my - eh - butler . . . He has a Sig Saur in his shoulder holster, throwing grenades concealed in various pockets, anything else, Butler?

Oh yes. A good old fashioned ball-bearing Kosh - stuffed down his shirt.

I think one of Eoins biggest mistakes was making Butler such a tough mean guy in the first book and then going back in time in book six and having him be so soft and conscience-oriented. I dunno - seemed odd.

I think Butler's nice side was kind of buried in the beginning of the series and Colfer began to play on it more as time went by.
